Living Cultures Part 1: Living Cultures of the Haida, Tlingit, Lummi, and Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw
Living Cultures is a photography exhibit that explores contemporary Native American/First Nations life of the Haida, Lummi, Tlingit, and the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw nations by Sharon Grainger with narratives by tribal elders. 24 photographs will be in displayed in Part 1.
Living Cultures will be expanded on February 23 to include images from the Edward S. Curtis, North American Indian, his monumental work to record the culture of Native Americans whose numbers were in serious decline.
The exhibit will close on April 30.
